Viburnum odoratissimum, commonly known as Sweet Viburnum or Fragrant Viburnum, is an evergreen shrub highly valued for its lush foliage and fragrant flowers. Native to Asia, this versatile plant is popular in landscapes due to its attractive features and adaptability. The glossy, dark green leaves are oval-shaped and arranged in a dense, symmetrical fashion, creating a dense and vibrant canopy. In spring, it produces clusters of small, white flowers that emit a delightful, sweet fragrance, attracting bees and butterflies. These flowers are followed by small, red berries that gradually turn black as they ripen. It thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-drained soil. Responds well to pruning and clipping. Grows to approx. 3-4m H x 2m W.
