Tulbaghia violacea Variegata is a perennial herb known for its distinctive variegated foliage and fragrant flowers. Commonly referred to as Variegated Society Garlic, it features narrow, strappy leaves with creamy white or yellow margins, creating a striking contrast against the dark green centre. The foliage forms dense clumps and remains attractive throughout the year. In summer, clusters of small, star-shaped flowers bloom atop tall stalks, displaying shades of lilac or pink and emitting a delightful garlic-like fragrance. Thrives in full sun to part shade and prefers well-drained soil. Often used as a border plant, in rock gardens, or as an accent in mixed plantings. Grows to approx. 30-45cm H x W.
