Description:
Stachys lanata, commonly known as Lambs Ears, is a perennial herbaceous plant valued for its soft, woolly foliage and attractive flower spikes. The foliage is grey-green and densely covered in fine, silvery-white hairs, giving them a fuzzy and textured appearance. The leaves are oblong or lance-shaped with toothed edges. In summer, tall flower spikes rise above the foliage, bearing clusters of small, tubular pink or purple flowers. The flowers attract bees and butterflies to the garden.
