Description:
Compact native perennial grass that forms dense tufts of fine, narrow green leaves that turns brown quicker than other varieties of poas. In late spring to summer, it produces delicate flower spikes that bear small, airy seed heads. Widely used mass planted, verge plantings, coastal gardens and containers. It thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers moist, well-drained soil. A versatile and hardy plant that is valued for its ornamental appeal and ability to withstand various growing conditions.
