Description:
The Black River Birch has a slightly darker and different bark then some of the other birches. The bark is white and smooth at first and then flakes in smaller sections to a salmon and pale brown colour. This tree is suitable for a range of areas throughout Australia as it will handle humid conditions and tolerate heat and dryness as well as a wet soil. Best planted in odd numbered groups.
